SE Beginning Level Groups:
I am looking forward to supporting you in deepening your understanding of the SE Beginning level material. Our group will have a maximum of 8 participants, and we will have a chance to tailor the learning to your needs. You will be able to present clients, ask questions, and get ideas where you might feel stuck. You can ask about specific topics or general conceptual questions as it applies to the SE learning material. We can also use role play, practice SE language, and learn how to incorporate somatic movement within your SE sessions when indicated. We will explore somatic resonance and transferance or countertransferance as it shows up in sessions. We will track bodily sensations, SIBAM, and your client's nervous system in general and how it moves from sympathetic activation to settling or freeze. We will also discuss how to help with titration. We can look at how you can best incorporate SE into your scope of practice and interventions you typically use. Since this is a small group, we are able to tailer the format to your needs.
As an LMFT and BASE-P, I have experience working with adults, and children, both individually and in groups, also incorporating touch when indicated.
My teaching assistant journey began in 2018 with Alicen Halquist (Beginning and Intermediate), Dr. Abi Blakeslee (Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced classes), Dr. Joshua Sylvae (Advanced and Eotn), Dr. Raja Selvam (Advanced), Dave Berger (Advanced), and Dr. Peter Levine (Eye of the Needle). I am currently assisting with Dr. Shideh Lennon.

Rates:
$40 per person plus potential handling fees for one meeting, or 1.5 clock hours. 1.5 clock hours equals 0.5 (nonfaculty) group credit. So 3 clock hours (or two meetings) equals 1 group hour for credit.
Groups are typically between 4 to 8 students. Please note that once you commit to a group, the fees are non-refundable. Per SEI Student Policy Handbook, Group Case Consultations cannot be recorded.
